ASYNCHRONOUS DEVELOPMENT

At certain times with specific circumstances, the learner can perform well above expectations. This is sometimes called operating within the “gifted” range.  However, the same person can also have significant gaps (challenges) in the development of other areas. This is called Asynchronous Development.
